New Apple Reps
Thursday, November 16, 2006
There’s going to be a bit of a shake-up on Texas A&M’s Apple Rep team next semester. Ben is leaving after two and a half years on the team. His replacement will be announced shortly. Also, Nancy is joining the team, for a total of three Reps at A&M! Whoop indeed.

Mac Pro Demo
Tuesday, September 26, 2006
Dreux SteMarie, one of our favorite Apple employees, is bringing a brand new quad processor 3.0 GHz Xeon based MacPro workstations on campus this Friday, September 29th for a demo and show and tell. There will be both a demo of the benefits and specs of the new system and an "open floor" period for Q&A and the ability to run any program you'd like to see run (if you can bring a copy). He should have Parallels with him as well, so if you feel the need to see a windows app run, you could do that too. Everyone is invited.

Howdy, Macophiles!
Our next MUG meeting is this Wednesday, September 20 at 7pm in MSC room 205. We'll be going over how to access your NEO e-mail through Apple's beautiful built-in Mail application, how to change Mail's appearance to a widescreen format and use plug-ins to extend Mail's functionality even further, how to connect Address Book to Neo's database to automatically lookup names for entries and new e-mails and learn the benefits of connecting your Bluetooth-enabled phone to Address Book. We'll also have a bunch of fun together, so be sure to come!
